Barry Gives Supportive Guidance

At Barry Bruder Neurofeedback, together, we help your brain stop living in constant ‘fight or flight’ and shift back into a calmer, healthier place. Stress and trauma can make your brain feel stuck or frozen, and that can affect everything you do. Our work helps your brain break out of those patterns so you can feel better, think clearer, and function at your best. Whether you’re struggling with something or just want to perform at a higher level, this is a fast, effective way to help your brain work the way it’s supposed to.

Family Focus

Neurofeedback may support individuals experiencing attention and focus challenges such as ADD and ADHD. It can also help students facing school stress, learning struggles, and reduced cognitive function. Those who feel emotionally overwhelmed or stuck in fight or flight patterns may benefit from improved nervous system regulation. Neurofeedback is often used to assist with anxiety, sensory sensitivity, and some autism related symptoms. It may also help people dealing with sleep disruption caused by stress, overstimulation, or excessive screen exposure. In addition, it is sometimes included in recovery plans for sports related concussions and for individuals coping with family stress, abuse, violence, or loss.

Veteran Focus

Neurofeedback may support individuals dealing with chronic stress or burnout from high stakes operations, traumatic exposure, or civilian transition. It can help reduce anxiety and rumination linked to intense combat, traumatic events, combat exposure, or moral conflicts. Brain fog related to neuroinflammation, PTSD, TBI, chronic pain, migraines, or neurofatigue may also improve with better brain regulation. Sleep issues caused by chronic pain, high stress deployment, sleep apnea, or environmental stressors are common concerns. Emotional exhaustion tied to ongoing operational stress or long term emotional suppression may also respond to targeted brain training and nervous system stabilization.

Wellness Focus

Neurofeedback may help individuals struggling with chronic stress or burnout caused by prolonged exposure to ongoing stressors, emotional imbalance, or depression. It can support those dealing with anxiety, excessive rumination, mental loops, or OCD patterns. Brain fog and mental fatigue linked to chronic stress, sleep dysfunction, high cortisol, inflammation, autoimmune conditions, hormonal imbalances, nutritional deficiencies, metabolic concerns, or viral infections may also improve with better regulation. Poor sleep quality, emotional exhaustion, and difficulty relaxing are common concerns. Many people who feel wired but tired benefit from calming overactive brain patterns and restoring healthier nervous system balance.

Athlete Focus

Neurofeedback may support athletes and active individuals dealing with sports related concussions and lingering symptoms such as headaches, brain fog, or slowed reaction time. It can also help manage performance anxiety that interferes with confidence during competition. Overtraining stress often keeps the nervous system in a heightened state, making recovery harder. Inconsistent focus during practice or games may improve with better brain regulation. Sleep disruption caused by physical strain, travel, or stress can also impact performance. By training steadier brainwave patterns, neurofeedback aims to improve recovery, mental clarity, emotional balance, and consistent peak performance.

What is neurofeedback?

Neurofeedback is a gentle brain training that uses real-time feedback to help your brain shift out of stress and into a healthier, more balanced state. It’s non-invasive and supports natural self-regulation.

Who can benefit?

Neurofeedback is for anyone wanting to feel calmer, think more clearly, or improve focus. It’s helpful for adults, teens, and children—whether you’re managing stress, recovering from trauma, or aiming to perform better.

What does a session feel like?

Sessions are comfortable and relaxing. You’ll sit quietly while sensors track your brain activity. Most people find the process soothing, with no pain or discomfort at any point.

How soon will I notice changes?

Some people notice positive shifts after a few sessions, while others see gradual improvements over time. Every brain is unique, but most experience benefits within several weeks.

Is neurofeedback safe?

Yes, neurofeedback is safe and non-invasive. It uses only feedback—no medication or electrical stimulation—so you can train your brain naturally and comfortably.

How long do the effects last?

With regular sessions, many people enjoy lasting improvements. Neurofeedback helps your brain learn new, healthier patterns, so benefits often continue even after training ends.
